Affordable Sushi restaurant near JR Sapporo station

Yes, Shiki Hanamaru and Nemuro Hanamaru are actually operated by same company, Hanamaru Inc which has head office in Nemuro, eastern area of Hokkaido with rich fishing port. It has not been spent one year since Shiki Hanamaru started its operation, and not so many local people have recognized another type of Sushi restaurant under the famous “Hanamaru” group is opening at near Sapporo station yet, therefore it was not crowded even my visit was just in lunch time. If you go to Nemuro Hanamaru in JR Tower Stellar Place in lunch time or dinner time, would have to wait one hour or more to get seat. The quality of Sushi is actually excellent, but waiting time somehow seem waste for tourists who are given time limitation. Shiki Hanamaru offers same quality as Nemuro Hanamaru, but no any long queue! That’s what I recommend. You can reach Shiki Hanamaru within ten minutes walk from JR Sapporo station and Nemuro Hanamaru, then the location is also very convenient.

Reasonable Sushi and seafood bowl lunch set

Shiki Hanamaru prepares some types of lunch sets whose price range is JPY 850-1,600 (exc VAT) including Sushi set, seafood bowl set and grilled fish set. For seafood bowl set, the fish chosen is different everyday according to chief’s recommend. When I ordered fish bowl, tuna, squid, yellowtail and some fish are put on the rice. In addition to the fish bowl, I especially enjoyed the soup! It’s kinds of Miso soup, but the taste of baby scallop made much rich taste.
